Rising majestically from the still waters of its moat and surrounded by 500 acres of parkland and gardens, Leeds Castle is without a doubt one of the most beautiful venues in Kent. Coined ‘The Loveliest Castle in the World’, it is the perfect place for a great whole day out. Our South East adventure boasts zip wires 20m above the forest floor and 250m in length, a hair-raising 25m crossing, plus breathtaking views of the castle.

Leeds Castle's Bird of Prey Centre houses birds from a variety of different species, from our smallest American Kestrel to our largest, a Russian Steppe Eagle. Every day (weather permitting) the birds are on public display on the weathering ground and in their aviaries. Each bird has an information sign showing their name, species, age, origin and what they like to eat. The Bird of Prey Centre is located behind the Maze.

The Maze consists of 2,400 yew trees and when viewed from the centre, part of its plan mirrors a queen’s crown. It is set in a square, and yet, when seen from the mound or the air, the pattern is circular, this is unique to Leeds Castle and adds to the difficulty in solving it.

Squires’ Court Playground Younger children can climb turrets, swing across zip lines, play in the sand pits and plunge down the slides of the Squires' Courtyard Playground at Leeds Castle. Parents can relax and watch as their children play independently and in safety. All they need is lots of imagination for hours of fun! This accessible playground is designed for children 6 years and under.

The maturity of the Kent parkland surrounding Leeds Castle provides both challenging and spectacular holes from start to finish. Intervals of ten minutes between tee-off times mean that the course is rarely congested. Our Pro Shop is fully stocked for all your golfing needs, with changing rooms with shower facilities. Hot meals and refreshments are available in our onsite café - Sue's Kitchen. Club and trolley hire available, golf societies and corporate golf days welcome.
